At the distillery we extract robust coffee flavor by a cold-brew method, then carefully blend with our batch-distilled spirits, organic cane sugar, and agave nectar. It’s both fresh, rich, and a fantastic cocktail to sip on a cold night.
If you like whiskey and coffee, these next two classics will definitely be up your alley. Have you ever had a Revolver? This three ingredient cocktail is a simple, yet divine combination of Distiller’s Reserve Bourbon, Coffee Liqueur, and orange bitters. Just stir with ice, pour over a large ice cube, and absolutely do not leave out the orange zest garnish. Squeeze the peel over the surface of the drink and you’ll release aromatic orange oils that really pull the cocktail together. Another whiskey-coffee classic to revisit (if you haven’t already) is the Irish Coffee. The key here is to jazz it up with coffee liqueur whipped cream. Use a hand or stand mixer to blend heavy cream, powdered sugar, and coffee liqueur into an ultra-wonderful whipped topping. Or, if you want an arm workout, dry shake the ingredients in a tin until thick and fluffy.
