We do not yet have a timeline for when we will be reopening the distillery for tastings, tours, or classes. Our production area and Tasting Room shared a lot of space. A complex web of workplace Covid regulations and spirit manufacturing regulations make it difficult to grant access to the public as we did in the past.
When pandemic lockdowns began in March 2020, we were poised to start a major construction project to build a barrel storage building in our parking lot and make other improvements to our existing building and surrounding grounds. The pandemic caused major delays in both permitting and construction work. As of Spring 2022, construction is on-going.
Once construction is complete, we will be able to determine what our offerings will be going forward. Until then, we welcome walk-in customers at the Bottle Shop daily, from noon-6pm for bottle sales & sample tastes. You can stay up to date on any service changes and find ways to continue enjoying New Deal spirits in Portland and beyond by signing up for our newsletter at the very bottom of the page or, by following us on social media platforms and by browsing the FAQs below.
At this time, we are not able to allow individuals or groups to hold private events at the distillery or Bottle Shop.
