Has your day been all sixes and sevens and nines? Keep a tray of these booze cubes in your freezer so you can easily whip up a French 75 and turn your luck around. Just add the cubes to a wine glass and top with sparkling wine!
- 2 oz Portland Dry Gin 33
- 1 cup lemon juice
- 1 cup simple syrup
- 2 cups water
- 5 oz sparkling wine
- lemon wheel or peel, for garnish
To make the cubes, combine gin, lemon juice, simple syrup, and water. Pour in an ice tray and freeze overnight. For the cocktail, add three booze cubes to a wine glass and top with sparkling wine. Garnish with a lemon wheel or peel.
