Found on many a tiki bar menu, this classic combines several flavors for one fabulous result. Plus, its a great excuse to break out your tiki mug collection.
- 1 oz Distiller’s Cut Rum
- 1/2 oz New Deal Pear Brandy
- 1/2 oz Portland Dry Gin 33
- 3/4 oz lemon juice
- 1 oz orange juice
- 3/4 oz Daddy’s Orgeat Cocktail Syrup
- 1/2 oz red wine float
- 1 mint sprig and/or orange wheel for garnish
Shake all ingredients (except wine) with ice. Strain into a ceramic tiki mug filled with fresh ice. If you don’t own such a mug, a pint glass will do. Float red wine on top then garnish with a mint sprig and/or orange wheel.
