This fizzy, tropical delight is a slightly adapted recipe from our friends at Daddy’s Cocktail syrups. Their line of quality, local syrups (available at the New Deal Bottle Shop) are perfect for easily adding tropical flavors to your home bar.
- 2 oz Distiller’s Cut Rum
- ¾ oz Daddy’s Passion Fruit Vanilla Syrup
- ½ oz lemon juice
- 2 dashes orange bitters
- soda water
- ¼ oz New Deal Cascara Liqueur float
- 1 lime or orange wheel for garnish
Shake rum, syrup, lemon juice, and bitters with ice. Strain into a collins glass filled with fresh ice and top with soda water. Stir to incorporate. Using the back of a spoon, float the Cascara Liqueur on top. Garnish with lime and/or orange wheel and enjoy.
