No need to wait around for the Kentucky Derby to enjoy this ice-cold refresher!
Gently muddle mint and simple syrup in a highball or rocks glass. Add the bourbon. Add crushed or cracked ice and stir, adding more and more ice until the glass is full. If you like, pack more ice on top to create a dome. Garnish with a mint sprig.
