- 2 oz New Deal Old Tom Gin
- 1 oz blood orange juice
- ¾ oz Lover’s Leap syrup*
- ½ lemon juice
- soda water
- 1 blood orange slice for garnish
Shake old tom gin, blood orange, lemon, and syrup with ice. Add a glug or two of soda water to the tin then strain into a collins glass filled with fresh ice. Garnish with a slice of blood orange.
*Lover’s Leap syrup: Steep 2 sachets of Lover’s Leap tea in 6 oz of boiling water for 5 minutes. Remove sachets. Measure the remaining liquid and add an equal part of sugar. For example, if there is a ½ cup of tea concentrate, add a ½ cup of sugar. In a small pot on low heat, stir until the sugar is dissolved.
