Holly’s Holiday Punch

A delicious and festive holiday punch that will make even Grinches and Scrooges smile.

Make Clove Cardamom Simple Syrup at least one day prior to making the punch. For punch, combine all ingredients and stir well. Serve over ice in a tumbler. Recipe makes enough for 4-6 servings and can easily be doubled or tripled for a larger crowd.

Clove Cardamom Simple Syrup
In a small saucepan, combine 1 T whole cloves and 1 T bruised cardamom pods with 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water. Cook on medium high heat and stir continuously until sugar is dissolved. Bring mixture to a boil, boiling for approx. 1 minute. Remove from heat, strain and cool. Store in fridge for up to 30 days.
