Mix this up, store it in your freezer, and you’ll have an easy martini whenever the mood strikes.
- 12 oz Portland Dry Gin 33
- 6 oz Dolin Dry vermouth
- 6 oz water (Why water? This is the ratio of water created from the melted ice if you were shaking/stirring a single cocktail. It is absolutely necessary for a balanced cocktail).
- lemon twist or olives for garnish
In a pitcher, mix all of the ingredients together and pour into a 750 ml bottle (the size of a standard wine/spirit bottle). Store in your freezer until you’re ready for a martini. The mix will appear frozen, but if you shake the bottle, you will see it is still slushy. Let the bottle sit out for a few minutes to loosen up, give it several shakes, and pour into a martini glass. Add your favorite garnish and enjoy.
