When it comes to tropical cocktails, baking spices and tropical juices are a match made in heaven. This drink, Tan Lines, is no exception. The combination of pear, pineapple, and cinnamon creates a wonderfully fresh, frothy drink that’s perfect for kicking back and relaxing.
- 1 oz Distiller’s Cut Rum
- 1 oz New Deal Spiced Pear Liqueur or New Deal Pear Brandy*
- ½ oz Daddy’s Cinnamon Demerara Cocktail Syrup
- ¾ oz lime juice
- 2 oz pineapple juice
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- 1 lime wheel and a sprinkle of cinnamon for garnish
Add all ingredients to a shaker tin and fill with ice. Shake hard and strain into an Old Fashioned glass, over a large ice cube. Dust the drink with cinnamon and garnish with a lime wheel.
*This drink is delicious when made with either spirit. It’s up to you, but we found we liked using the Spiced Pear Liqueur on a colder day and the Pear Brandy on a warmer day.
