Sunset Magazine has announced the winners of the 2020 Sunset International Spirits Competition, and we are pleased to share that our New Deal Ginger Liqueur has taken home the Double Gold Award in the Herbal/Botanicals Liqueurs category. The esteemed judging panel, representing large volume buyers, influential media, successful distillers, and other professionals from the spirits category, called our Ginger Liqueur, “Best-in-class” and noted its flavor profile as “spicy ginger, well balanced.”
This Double-Gold Award joins our three previous Gold Medals!
New Deal Ginger Liqueur was voted Best in Category by the American Distilling Institute (ADI) in 2014. At the 2013 International Review of Spirits Awards, the Beverage Testing Institute called it “Very bold and multidimensional; will be great in culinary cocktails.” Rating: 93 points – Exceptional. And, we received a Gold Medal Award at the 9th Annual Great American Distillers Festival in Portland, Oregon in 2013.
