Adapted from Martin Cate’s Smuggler’s Cove recipe, this tall fizzy drink’s origins date back to a Cairo hotel in 1942.
- 1 oz New Deal Dry Gin 33
- 1 oz Distiller’s Workshop Brandy
- ¼ oz simple syrup
- ½ oz lime juice
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- 4 oz Ginger Beer (We like to use Fever Tree)
- 1 mint sprig and a swizzle stick for garnish
Add ginger beer to a Collins glass and shake remaining ingredients with ice. Strain into the glass and fill with ice. Garnish with mint and a swizzle stick.
