An adaptation of the Sidecar, the Cable Car is a delicious spiced rum sour with a fantastic cinnamon sugar rim.
- 1½ oz New Deal Spiced Rum
- ¾ oz orange liqueur
- 1 oz lemon juice, freshly squeezed
- ½ oz simple syrup
- cinnamon and sugar for the rim
- 1 orange spiral for garnish
Shake rum, syrup, lemon juice, and bitters with ice. Strain into a collins glass filled with fresh ice and top with soda water. Stir to incorporate. Using the back of a spoon, float the Cascara Liqueur on top. Garnish with lime and/or orange wheel and enjoy.
