Hot Monkey Vodka heats things up but coconut water, lime, and basil will cool you down in this perfectly balanced Hot Monkey cocktail.
- 1 1/2 oz Hot Monkey Pepper-Flavored Vodka
- 1 oz lime juice
- 1 oz simple syrup
- 1/4 oz Herbsaint or other absinthe
- 2 basil sprigs for muddling
- 4 oz coconut water
- 1 basil sprig for garnish
In a shaker, gently muddle 2 basil sprigs in simple syrup. Add Hot Monkey, absinthe, and lime juice to the tin and shake with ice for six seconds. Strain over fresh ice in a large glass, then top with 4 oz of coconut water. Garnish with a basil sprig.
