The Japanese Cocktail is proof that you only need a few high quality ingredients to make a wonderful drink. For this Jerry Thomas original we use our small-batch Oregon Brandy made from Willamette Valley grapes, a fantastic orgeat syrup from our favorite Portland-based tropical syrup makers, and meticulously crafted, locally made bitters.
- 2 oz Distiller’s Workshop Brandy
- ½ oz Daddy’s Orgeat Cocktail Syrup
- 2 dashes Bitter Housewife Aromatic Bitters
- 1 lemon peel for garnish
Stir all ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled coupe or martini glass. Garnish with a lemon peel and enjoy.
