This savory Gin No. 1 drink will definitely keep the vampires away!
- 2.5 oz Gin No.1
- 1 scant bar spoon simple syrup
- dry vermouth
- 4 cloves roasted garlic
- 1 olive, for garnish
Muddle three cloves of roasted garlic in a crystal mixing glass. Add a scant bar spoon of simple syrup for a softer garlic flavor. Add Gin No. 1 and stir with ice for at least 10 seconds. Rinse a chilled coupe glass with dry vermouth, then discard. Strain cocktail into the glass and garnish with additional roasted garlic and an olive.
Roasted Garlic: Pre-Heat oven to 400. Peel away any loose paper and cut the top of the garlic head to expose the top of cloves. Drizzle with olive oil. Allowing the oil to sink down between the cloves. Wrap garlic completely with aluminum foil and bake for 40 minutes. If roasting multiple heads, wrap each individually.
