This is the perfect summertime party punch featuring one of Mathilde’s Kitchen line of non-alcoholic hibiscus drinks, made in Portland and available at many grocery and specialty retailers in the Portland Metro Area, including the New Deal Bottle Shop.
Quick & Easy Version (yields 20-25 drinks)
- 1 bottle (750ml) Portland 90 Vodka
- 6 oz New Deal Ginger Liqueur
- 24 oz (2 bottles) Mathilde’s Kitchen Hibiscus Flower & Passion Fruit
- 29 oz lemonade
- Sparkling wine or club soda or sparkling water
Combine all ingredients (except bubbles) into 4qt pitcher or punch bowl. Serve in glasses over ice. Top with your choice of bubbles!
Craft Version (yields 20-25 drinks)

- 12 oz 1:1 simple syrup
- 24 oz (2 bottles) Mathilde’s Kitchen Hibiscus Flower & Passion Fruit
- 10 oz water
- Sparkling wine or club soda or sparkling water
Combine all ingredients (except bubbles) into 4qt pitcher or punch bowl. Serve in glasses over ice. Top with your choice of bubbles!
Single cocktail
- 1 oz Portland 90 Vodka
- 1/4 oz New Deal Ginger Liqueur
- 1/4 oz fresh-squeezed lemon juice (strained through fine mesh strainer)
- 1/2 oz 1:1 simple syrup
- 1 oz Mathilde’s Kitchen Hibiscus Flower & Passion Fruit
- Sparkling wine or club soda or sparkling water
Combine all ingredients (except bubbles) in shaker tin with ice and whip shake (short shake ~5 seconds). Dump into rocks glass filled with ice and top with your choice of bubbles.
