What became the Sellwood Moreland Farmers Market began in 2006 as a weekly Wednesday market called the Moreland Farmers Market hosted by Wilhelm’s of Portland. In 2024, after almost two decades of successful growth, the market officially launched as a weekly Saturday market on SE Claybourne Street between SE Milwaukie and 17th Ave. Wells Fargo Bank graciously offers vendor and customer parking. The Sellwood Moreland Farmers Market’s mission is to create a neighborhood space where local farmers and producers can sell their fresh produce, cheese, meat, fish, honey, baked goods, prepared food, cut flowers and plant starts (in the spring), a space that is readily accessible to all.
