Create the Oregon Bounty Cocktail Contest FINALS
Our own Basil Vodka is one of the ingredients in a cocktail that made it to the final round: East Meets West was concocted by Sandy Dowling of Central Point!
You can get your own copy of the recipe, plus the other 6 finalist recipes, from Travel Oregon's beautiful (and free) 2008 Oregon Bounty Recipe Book.Join us on October 1st for the final round of judging at the Oregon Bounty kick-off event at Bluehour restaurant. The judges will select the "Unofficial Official Oregon Cocktail" from among the seven finalists, with grand prize winner receiving a weekend getaway to the Oregon Distillers Guild Spirits Tasting, October 11 at McMenamin's Edgefield in Troutdale, along with some very nice Nambe bar ware compliments of Macy's.
Bluehour will also feature a selection of the cocktails from 4 - 7 PM, with complimentary hors d'ouevres matched to the spirits, during a public "happy hour" event presented by KINK-FM radio.
