June 3rd, 2009 -- We have details about where you can enjoy New Deal spirits in the Seattle area. These restaurants/bars also serve New Deal spirits: Von's Grand City Cafe, Buckley's, Grey Gallery & Lounge, Pike Place Brewing Company, Floyd's Place, The Spectator and JUJU.

April 27th, 2009 -- Springtime is finally upon us: the birds are chirping, the trees are blooming, and everyone in Portland is out and about. Next time you're in Southeast on a Saturday come down to the distillery for a tour and tasting. Ben just built us a new bar for the Tasting Room, and we've got some cocktail specials in the works for upcoming Saturdays. Other big news--New Deal Vodkas are now available in Washington State! You can find us at The Pike Brewing Company and Grey Gallery and Lounge in Seattle. You can also order New Deal products at any liquor store, just ask the manager to place a special order.
March 2nd, 2009 -- Well, our tasting room and store are up and running. We've been open the past few Saturdays and hosted several large group tours. We will be open Saturday, March 7th and Saturday, March 14th from noon to 4 PM so stop by and say hi and sample some vodkas or organic liqueurs. If you'd like to schedule a tour at a different time, please call in advance to find out if our distillers are available: 503-234-2513. Thanks to everyone who has stopped by already! It's really great to meet so many people interested in craft distilling.
January 29th, 2009 -- Wow! We can't believe it's the end of January already! After a busy holiday season things are calming down a bit at New Deal. Our 2009 Event Calendar is filling up fast and we can't wait for some of the exciting stuff we have planned with other small businesses in Portland. Our biggest news is that New Deal Vodkas and LOFT Organic Liqueurs can be purchased at our store located in our distillery space at SE 9th Avenue & Main Street beginning February 1st! We'll soon be posting our regular hours of operation, but until then please call in advance to find out if we're open: 503-234-2513. More info on the store will be posted as we get things up and running.
November 23rd, 2008 -- It's almost Turkey Day, which means it's almost Black Friday, and that means shopping! We can't think of a better way to help out the local economy than buying some locally distilled spirits. Look for this sign at your local liquor store and support your fellow Oregon distillers:
November 16th, 2008 -- Thanks to everyone who joined us at our Open House yesterday! It was awesome to meet so many New Deal supporters. Keep up the good work! And a special thank you to Meat Cheese Bread and Saint Cupcake for all the yummy treats!
November 11th, 2008 -- Come celebrate Oregon's Bounty with New Deal at our Open House this Saturday, from 1 - 5 PM. We'll have distillery tours, treats from Meat Cheese Bread and Saint Cupcake, and of course, spirits sampling.
October 31st, 2008 -- Hopefully you've dropped off your ballot, or plan to in the next 24 hours! If you're out at an election night party tomorrow, look for the New Deal team passing out some commemorative Obama shot glasses with art by mags!
October 1st, 2008 -- We're gearing up for the kick-off of Travel Oregon's Oregon Bounty Celebration this fall. Travel Oregon is featuring Oregon craft distillers as part of their two-month, statewide celebration. There will be tastings, distillery tours, spirits dinner and many other events in October and November to promote this growing Oregon industry. Check our Events page regularly for updates.
July 21st, 2008 -- Thanks to everyone who made this weekend's Open House a huge success! It was great to meet some old fans and make some new ones. We have another open house planned for November 15th in conjunction with the Oregon Bounty Celebration this fall.
July 1st, 2008 -- We're proud to announce that beginning in July LOFT Organic Liqueurs are available for purchase in Oregon!
These are the first organic liqueurs in the U.S. and they're already flying off the shelves in California.
June 18th, 2008 -- We're finally getting settled in our new distillery space just in time for some summer fun.
